The Center for Local Governance (CLG) and the Bhutan Transparency Initiative (BTI) will collaborate to develop a Protocol for Parliament-CSO Engagement. This initiative builds upon the progressive Strategy championed by the previous parliamentary leadership. It signifies a vital step towards translating that vision into action.
The protocol, to be developed in collaboration with Parliamentarians, parliament officials and CSOs, aims to establish clear and transparent procedures for effective collaboration. This will add to on-going efforts to broaden and deepen participation in legislative and policymaking processes by the Parliament of Bhutan.
Consultations with Parliamentarians, CSO representatives, and relevant stakeholders will be integral to the process.
